Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared for the 25th time today before the Tel Aviv District Court to address the corruption charges against him.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Netanyahu's court appearances began on December 10, 2024, and the court convenes twice weekly to hear his responses to charges including bribery, fraud, and breach of trust. The court has set May 7 as the date to conclude the hearings for these responses, with scheduled appearances also set for tomorrow and on May 6 and 7.

Last Tuesday, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the trial's judges had permitted Netanyahu's attorney, Amit Hadad, to conduct four additional hearings during the main testimony phase, which is slated to end on May 7. Following the testimony phase, Netanyahu's cross-examination is expected to commence, though further details have not been disclosed.

Netanyahu faces allegations in Cases 1000, 2000, and 4000, with charges of corruption, bribery, and breach of trust. The indictment was filed by former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit in late November 2019.
