Gaza: Six Palestinian citizens were killed on Monday due to Israeli shelling in Beit Lahia, located in the north of the Gaza Strip, and in Khan Yunis, situated in the south of the Strip.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, local sources indicated that an Israeli drone targeted a group of citizens in Beit Lahia, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. Ambulance and rescue crews managed to recover the bodies of three Palestinians, including two brothers, who were brought to the Baptist Hospital after being targeted by Israeli fire in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
In a separate incident, the body of Harith Nabil Abu Ta’ima was recovered following a bombing south of the town of Abasan al-Kabira. Additionally, Israeli warplanes struck the home of the Dukhan family in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza.
Two Palestinian civilians suffered injuries from Israeli gunfire in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. In further violence, a citizen was killed and others injured when a drone targeted a tent sheltering displaced persons near the gate of Al-Aqsa University, west of Khan Yunis. Moreover, two individuals lost their lives in a drone strike on a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area.
Medical sources reported that since dawn on Monday, 28 Palestinian citizens have been killed due to airstrikes carried out by the occupation in the Gaza Strip, including 16 fatalities from Khan Yunis.
