Gaza city: An Israeli strike on Monday evening resulted in the death of a Palestinian and injuries to several others in western Gaza City. The incident occurred when an Israeli fighter jet targeted an apartment on Naser Street, causing significant casualties and damage to nearby tents.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the strike led to the immediate death of at least one civilian and injuries to multiple others. Medical sources at a-Shifa Hospital confirmed that the body of the deceased and five injured individuals were brought to the hospital following the attack.
In a related development, Israeli army vehicles positioned at As-Sourani Mount, located east of Gaza City, engaged in intensive firing activities, leading to additional casualties. The military forces also discharged indiscriminate fire at the Sabra neighborhood situated to the south of the city.
