Post: Israeli Settlers Clash with Palestinian Olive Harvesters Near Ramallah

Turmus Ayya:Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, on Wednesday morning.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the settlers targeted the harvesters in the northeastern part of the town, attempting to prevent them from gathering olives. They engaged in acts of intimidation and provocation against the local farmers.

Local residents responded by confronting the settlers and successfully forcing them to retreat toward a settlement outpost that had been established in the town's plain. This outpost was set up at the end of the previous year. Israeli bulldozers later constructed a road to link the outpost with the Shilo settlement, which is built on the town's land, resulting in the uprooting of more than 2,000 olive trees.
