A young Palestinian man sustained injuries this evening after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on his vehicle in the village of Deir Nidham, to the west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources. Nassr Al-Tamimi, the head of the Deir Nidham Village Council, said the young man was hit by shattered glass when Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at the vehicle he was driving in the village. The incident occurred during a military incursion by an infantry Israeli unit into the village. The vehicle, targeted by live bullets, suffered visible damage, as captured in video footage taken at the scene of the shooting. The incident has once again raised concerns about the use of live ammunition by Israeli occupation forces in civilian areas, putting the lives of civilians at risk.
