Jerusalem: Extremist Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that "the village of Al-Funduq, Nablus and Jenin should look like Jabalia," in a public statement advocating for actions against Palestinian people.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Smotrich urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to convene an urgent meeting to discuss a security strategy aimed at eradicating what he referred to as "terrorism" in the West Bank.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Israeli army Yisrael Katz expressed on X that they would not permit the conditions in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) to replicate those in the Gaza Strip.
Additionally, it is reported that a shooting occurred near the village of Al-Funduq, east of Qalqilya Governorate, resulting in the deaths of three Israelis and injuries to six others, as per Israeli media.
