Israeli Forces Storm Nablus and Intensify Operations in Askar al-Jadid Refugee Camp

Nablus: Israeli occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus and the village of Tal, southwest of Nablus, at dawn on Tuesday. They also continued the assault against the Askar al-Jadid refugee camp to the east.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, security sources reported that the occupation forces stormed various neighborhoods in the city, raided a house in the Nablus al-Jadidah neighborhood, and detained a citizen whose identity has not yet been revealed. The sources further noted that the occupation forces entered the village of Tal, raided a mosque, and forced worshippers to evacuate before conducting a search and ransacking the premises.

The operation in Askar al-Jadid refugee camp, east of Nablus, has been ongoing since dawn on Monday. The sources indicated that the forces raided numerous homes within the camp and assaulted residents, leading to several individuals being hospitalized. Additionally, some houses were converted into military barracks, where dozens of citizens were detained and subjected to field investigations.

A curfew has been imposed inside the camp, with the occupation forces surrounding its entrances and preventing citizens from entering or leaving the area.
