Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces on Monday night closed the entrances to the village of al-Jab'a, southwest of Bethlehem, according to a local official.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of Al-Jab'a Village Council, Dhiab Mash'ala, reported that Israeli forces shut the two iron gates at the village's main entrances. One gate is located between Nahalin and Husan, and the other between Nahalin and Al-Jab'a. This action follows the earlier closure of the village's primary entrance near the Gush Etzion colonial settlement bloc, which has been in effect since the outbreak of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023.
Mash'ala noted that the closure of these entrances has left many residents unable to reach their homes. He also mentioned that the village has recently been experiencing repeated attacks by both colonists and Israeli forces.
