Cold and Partially Cloudy Weather Expected Across Palestinian Regions

Ramallah: The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted partly cloudy to clear skies accompanied by cold to very cold conditions, particularly in the mountainous areas, for today, Monday. A slight increase in temperatures is anticipated, alongside a minor chance of scattered light rain in some regions. Winds are expected to be northwesterly, ranging from light to moderate, occasionally becoming active, with sea waves predicted to remain calm to moderate. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the evening and night are set to bring partly cloudy to clear skies with very cold temperatures, especially in the mountainous regions. Winds will shift to westerly to northwesterly, maintaining a light to moderate pace, while the sea is expected to stay calm. Looking ahead to Tuesday, the forecast remains consistent with partly cloudy and cold to very cold weather, once again particularly affecting the mountainous areas. A slight rise in temperatures is projected, with northwester ly winds continuing at a light to moderate strength, and calm sea waves. Wednesday's weather is predicted to be partly cloudy and cold to very cold, particularly over the mountainous regions, with a slight dip in temperatures. Winds will transition to westerly to northwesterly, moderate with occasional active periods, and sea conditions are expected to be calm to moderate. On Thursday, conditions will be partly cloudy and cold to very cold, particularly in the mountainous areas, with a slight temperature increase. There remains a slight possibility of scattered light rain in certain areas during the early morning hours. Winds are anticipated to be northwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally brisk, with the sea being slight to moderate. The PMD has issued warnings regarding the risk of slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall, possible frost formation during the early morning hours of Monday and Tuesday, and reduced horizontal visibility due to fog and low-lying clouds.
