Israeli Forces Raid Village Near Ramallah, Raze Palestinian Lands

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday stormed the village of Deir Ibzi’, located west of Ramallah. Local sources reported that the forces entered the village’s al-Dawara neighborhood, accompanied by bulldozers, and proceeded to level lands before withdrawing from the area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the incident follows a previous action on April 16, 2025, when occupation authorities issued demolition notices against seven homes in Deir Ibzi’. These notices were reportedly issued on the pretext of construction without a permit.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission has reported that occupation authorities conducted 73 demolition operations in April alone. These operations impacted 152 structures, which included 96 inhabited homes, 10 uninhabited homes, and 34 agricultural and other structures.

In addition to the demolitions, the occupation authorities distributed 46 demolition notices targeting Palestinian facilities, exacerbating the ongoing tension over Palestinian construction and development. The notices were primarily concentrated in three areas: Hebron Governorate with 16, Ramallah with 14, and Jerusalem with 12.
