Israeli Forces Raid Nablus, 15 People Suffer From Suffocation

Nablus: At dawn on Tuesday, approximately 15 Palestinians suffered from suffocation during the Israeli occupation forces' raid on the Old City of Nablus. The director of the Red Crescent's Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, Amid Ahmed, reported that ambulance crews treated more than 15 cases of suffocation, including children, due to inhaling tear gas during the raid.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli occupation forces raided several neighborhoods within the Old City of Nablus, including the Khan Market. They searched and ransacked several homes and shops during the operation. Snipers were deployed widely on the rooftops of buildings as part of the raid strategy.

WAFA correspondent confirmed that the Israeli forces targeted several homes using live ammunition and tear gas canisters. The operation also involved the detention of a number of young men from the area.

In response to the raid, the Nablus Education Directorate announced the suspension of school operations in the city. Additionally, they postponed the unified exams in all schools under the directorate's jurisdiction until next Monday, as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and staff.
