Israeli Forces Raid Home of Palestinian Minister, Detain His Son

Tulkarm: Israeli occupation forces conducted a raid early Monday on the home of Minister Mu'ayyad Shaaban, who is the head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, located in the Dhnaba suburb east of Tulkarm city. During the operation, they detained his 20-year-old son, Ibrahim.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that Ibrahim was subjected to an interrogation by the Israeli soldiers, who questioned him regarding his father's activities. The raid is significant as it occurred in the absence of Minister Shaaban, who was not at the family residence during this incident.

The raid comes in the wake of calls for incitement by extremist colonists who have been urging Israeli occupation forces to detain Shaaban. These demands are connected to Shaaban's recent involvement in the removal of a colonial outpost in the Wadi al-Haramiyeh area.
