Winds are expected to be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, with occasional active phases, and sea waves will range from light to medium.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the PMD has predicted that the hot conditions will persist into the evening and night hours, although the weather will generally become clear and pleasant in most areas. The wind pattern will remain consistent, and sea conditions are not expected to change significantly.
The forecast for Tuesday indicates a continuation of hot to very hot weather, with temperatures maintaining their elevated levels. The winds will follow a similar pattern as the previous day, being light to moderate from the westerly to northwesterly directions, with occasional increases in activity.
By Wednesday, the PMD anticipates an intensification of heat, with temperatures rising to approximately 5-6 degrees Celsius above the annual average. The weather will be very hot and dry, with the wind pattern remaining westerly to northwesterly, and the sea conditions staying light to medium.
As the week progresses to Thursday, temperatures are expected to slightly decrease but will still be about 4 degrees Celsius above the norm. The winds will shift slightly to a southwesterly to northwesterly direction, maintaining a light to moderate intensity, with sporadic active phases, and the sea will continue to exhibit light to medium waves.
The PMD has issued a warning to citizens about the dangers of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, particularly during the peak hours between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Citizens are urged to adhere to instructions issued by the Civil Defense to ensure their safety during this period of sustained high temperatures.
