Israeli Forces Prevent Opening of Park in Jerusalem’s Old City

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation police Tuesday raided the headquarters of the Burj al-Luqlaq Association in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem. Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli police force raided the association's headquarters in the Bab Huta neighborhood, preventing an event to inaugurate its public park. They also summoned the association's director, Muntaser Edkedek, for interrogation.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the park overlooks the most prominent historical landmarks in occupied Jerusalem, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Savior.
