Post: Colonists Bulldoze Dozens of Dunums in Masafer Yatta as Prelude to Land Seizure

Masafer Yatta: Israeli colonists Tuesday bulldozed dozens of dunums of Palestinian-owned land in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in an apparent prelude to taking over the land. Local resident Suleiman Amour reported that colonists leveled large swathes of land belonging to the Rabai and Amour families in Khirbet a-Rakeez, located in the area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli occupation forces had earlier informed the landowners of plans to seize the area, declaring it as state land and warning them not to enter or access it. The actions by the colonists have raised concerns among the local communities, who fear further encroachments on their lands and the potential for future displacements.
