Nablus: Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening ordered an entire Palestinian family to vacate their home in Khallet al-Amud, east of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank. The abrupt eviction was carried out by soldiers who entered the area and demanded the family leave at gunpoint.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, this incident marks the fourth time Israeli forces have raided the city of Nablus in recent days. During previous raids, soldiers detained four civilians, one of whom was shot with live ammunition. Additionally, homes on Shweitra Street were targeted with tear gas canisters, resulting in fires.
The occupational forces conduct regular raids across the West Bank, citing the search for 'wanted' Palestinians as justification. These operations often lead to clashes with local residents. The raids are executed without search warrants, reflecting the extensive powers held by the military.
Under Israeli military law, army commanders wield complete control over the 3 million Palestinians residing in the West Bank, with no input from the local population on the administration of these powers.
