Post: Israeli Forces Notify 23 Homes of Impending Demolition Orders West of Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces have issued demolition orders to 23 homes in the town of Nahalin, located west of Bethlehem. The residents were informed on Wednesday that their homes are slated for demolition due to alleged lack of building permits.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Ibrahim Ghayatha, the head of the Nahalin Municipal Council, reported that the demolition orders affect homes in the areas of Bakoush, Sabiha, Wadi Salem, and Qurnat al-Da'mas. These homes are inhabited by several Palestinian residents, who now face the threat of losing their residences.

Ghayatha further mentioned that the homeowners have been given a 24-hour window to file an appeal against the demolition orders. The situation has raised significant concern among the local population, as they scramble to counter the impending demolitions.
