Israeli Colonists Set Fire to Palestinian Agricultural Structures Near Jerusalem

Jerusalem: Israeli colonists on Wednesday evening torched Palestinian-owned agricultural structures in the Ash-Shamis locality, northeast of Jerusalem.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists set the structures on fire, causing significant material damage.

Colonists' violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. This violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which is in violation of international law.
