Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Minor, Critically Injure Two in Jenin Camp


Jenin: Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian minor and critically injured two other youths during an operation in the Jenin refugee camp on Monday evening, as reported by medical and local sources. The incident occurred amid heightened tensions in the region.



According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Wissam Bakr, the director of Jenin Government Hospital, confirmed the death of a 14-year-old identified as Islam Abdul-Aziz Nouh Majarmeh. The minor’s body was evacuated to the hospital following the incident. Additionally, two other young men sustained critical injuries and were immediately taken into surgery for gunshot wounds to their abdomens.



The circumstances leading to the violence involved heavily-armed Israeli soldiers opening fire on a group of civilians. These individuals were reportedly attempting to inspect and retrieve belongings from their homes within the camp. The confrontation resulted in the death of Majarmeh and severe injuries to the others.



Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its medics attended to a 12-year-old girl who required first-aid treatment after being injured while chased by the soldiers. She was subsequently transported to a hospital for further care.
