Bethlehem: Israeli forces on Wednesday issued demolition notices for a livestock shack and a mobile home in the village of Al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem. The actions have sparked concern among the residents, highlighting ongoing tensions in the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Khader Al-A'raj, head of the Al-Walaja Village Council, stated that the Israeli forces delivered these notices for two structures situated in the Al-Sarj area, near the village's main entrance. The reason cited for these demolition notices was the alleged construction of these structures without the necessary permits.
Al-A'raj further explained that the village witnessed an early morning incursion by a military force, which was accompanied by Israeli bulldozers. Despite their presence, the final destination of the invading force remained unclear, leaving the village in a state of uncertainty.
