Gaza Death Toll Climbs to 59,219 Amid Ongoing Conflict

Gaza: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 59,219, the majority being women and children, since the onset of Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 143,045 others have been injured.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources confirmed that out of the total casualties, 8,363 civilians have been killed and 31,004 injured since March 18, 2025. This date marks the resumption of Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip following the breakdown of a ceasefire agreement.

Sources stated that 113 bodies, including 13 recovered from under rubble, and 534 injured individuals were brought to hospitals in Gaza over the past 24 hours.

Reports indicated that 34 aid seekers were killed, and more than 644 others were injured in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of aid seekers killed in aid distribution areas and transported to hospitals to 1,060, with over 7,207 others injured.

The toll remains incomplete as many victims are still trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
