Jenin: For the fifth day in a row, Israeli forces continue their large-scale military onslaught on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp. The ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the deaths of 14 Palestinians and injuries to others, alongside significant destruction of infrastructure.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the military operations have expanded to several villages and towns in the Jenin governorate, where raids and detentions have been reported. In a recent incident, the town of Qabatiya to the south experienced an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle, leading to the deaths of two Palestinians.
The Israeli occupation forces have used bulldozers to demolish the entrances to the towns of Al-Yamoun and Al-Silah Al-Harithiya to the west. They have also bulldozed Jaffa Street, which connects the city of Jenin to its western villages.
A large-scale detention campaign has been launched, targeting several local residents in various neighborhoods and homes within the Jenin refugee camp. In a specific instance, Israeli soldiers raided the home of detainee Zakaria Al-Zubaidi, detaining his wife and children, and stormed the homes of his two siblings in the Jaberbat area, causing destruction within their premises.
In the southwestern area of the camp, the occupation army has destroyed and set fire to residents' homes. In the Al-Zahra and Al-Jabariyat neighborhoods, citizens were forced to evacuate their homes, with a prohibition on returning for a month. Drones continue to patrol the skies above the camp, and a curfew has been imposed.
Military reinforcements are consistently being sent into the city of Jenin and the camp's entrances. Meanwhile, the Health Directorate has issued a directive advising patients who obtain medicines from its headquarters in Jenin to visit directorate centers in other towns of the governorate, due to the ongoing storming of the city.
