Jenin: The Israeli occupation forces have continued their extensive military operations in the city of Jenin and its camp for a second consecutive day. Local sources reported that during the early hours of Wednesday, several Palestinians from both the city and the camp were detained by the occupation forces. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli forces conducted raids on numerous homes within the Jenin camp, detaining several individuals, including a woman, and carried out field investigations within these residences. The military presence in Jenin was bolstered with reinforcements and bulldozers, as violent confrontations persisted in the eastern neighborhood and various parts of the camp. The incursions have resulted in significant damage to infrastructure, with occupation bulldozers demolishing power lines, causing a complete power outage in Jenin since dawn. In the camp, occupation soldiers repurposed homes in the Abdullah Azzam and Joura al-Dhahab neighborhoods into mil itary outposts, amidst ongoing drone surveillance. Further destruction was reported as parts of the municipality stadium in Jenin's eastern neighborhood were damaged, and the street leading to schools was bulldozed. In response to the escalating aggression, the Jenin Education Directorate has suspended all public and private schools, shifting to electronic schooling to ensure the safety of students and staff.
