Mikhmas: Israeli forces on Monday morning installed an iron gate at the entrance to the town of Mikhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources. They reported that Israeli troops have recently increased the installation of such gates at the entrances to villages and towns surrounding the city of Jerusalem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission noted that the number of checkpoints and iron gates installed by the occupation army in the West Bank has surpassed 900, including 18 iron gates erected since the beginning of 2025. Additionally, around 146 iron gates were installed by the occupation after October 7, 2023.
