Israeli Forces Fatally Shoot Palestinian East of Gaza

Gaza city: Israeli occupation forces on Friday fatally shot a Palestinian in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, according to WAFA correspondent. The correspondent reported that the occupation forces opened live fire at a person on the Salah ad-Din street, resulting in his death.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, since the ceasefire agreement went into effect at noon on October 10, 2025, the occupation forces have killed 636 Palestinians and injured 1,704 others. Additionally, the bodies of 753 Palestinians have been retrieved over the same period.

Israel has been conducting a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, which has led to the deaths of 72,121 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and left 171,802 others injured. Furthermore, at least 10,000 individuals are unaccounted for, presumed dead beneath the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has forced nearly two million people to be displaced from all over the Gaza Strip. The majority of these displaced individuals have been forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt, marking Palestine's largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
