Post: Israeli Forces Expel Employees from Hebron’s Ibrahimi Mosque

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces expelled five employees and custodians of the Ibrahimi Mosque on Sunday, preventing them from entering the mosque's corridors.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Director of the Hebron Endowments, Ghassan Al-Rajabi, stated that the occupation forces expelled five employees from the mosque's custodians. These individuals were barred from performing their duties, which include preserving the mosque, maintaining order, and ensuring security for those present.

Al-Rajabi highlighted that the expulsion is part of broader arbitrary and repressive measures targeting holy sites and Muslims. He noted a recent escalation in attacks against the endowments crews and custodians of the mosque, with some being denied entry. This situation poses significant risks to the lives of the employees and workers.

Furthermore, Al-Rajabi emphasized that these actions are part of Israeli efforts to depopulate the mosque of its staff and visitors. This follows a decision to expel the mosque's director, Sheikh Moataz Abu Sneineh, along with other workers, raising concerns about the future of the mosque's operations.
