Tulkarm: Israeli occupation forces Thursday forced a Palestinian family to evacuate their homes located along the apartheid separation wall west of the town of Zeita, north of Tulkarm. Zeita Mayor Muhannad Jada’a reported that an Israeli army force raided the homes of the Abu al-Ezz family and forced them to leave within half an hour, without providing any justification.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the occupation forces evacuated seven homes belonging to the Abu al-Ezz family, who were forced to move to the homes of relatives inside the town. Jada’a explained that this is not the first time the family has been subjected to such a measure. Israeli occupation forces have deliberately carried out raids and evictions during their holidays and special occasions, disregarding the presence of children, women, and the elderly.
He pointed out that this time the eviction was widespread, encompassing a larger number of homes, raising concerns that the occupation intends to impose a new reality on the area adjacent to the wall.
