Ramallah: Israeli forces detained a Palestinian woman and a foreign solidarity activist on Saturday in the village of Al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah. Local sources reported that the Israeli troops detained Huda Rizq from her father's community, Abu Hammam hamlet, in the 'al-Khalayel' area south of the village, along with a foreign activist, while forcing others to leave the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces declared Al-Khala'il a closed military zone, preventing residents from approaching the area. Earlier in the day, an Israeli colonist blocked an agricultural road leading to Abu Hamam's farm, restricting residents' access to their lands and homes.
On Friday, the Israeli army detained four international solidarity activists from the same hamlet. These activists were attempting to document colonist attacks and provide support to the local residents. During the confrontations in the Al-Khala'il area of the village, 14-year-old Muhammad Saad Na'san was killed after being shot in the back and chest by Israeli forces.
