Post: Israeli Forces Detain Nine Palestinians in Hebron, Including Mosque Director

Hebron:Israeli occupation forces detained nine Palestinians in Hebron on Friday, including the director of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city's Old City.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the detentions followed raids by Israeli forces in several neighborhoods of Hebron, where they entered a number of Palestinian homes, conducting searches and causing damage before taking several individuals into custody. Among those detained were Saddam al-Jaabari, Khaled al-Jaabari, Ismail al-Jaabari, Majdi al-Jaabari, Sanad Hussein al-Jaabari, Mohammad Nafez al-Jaabari, and Moataz Zeidan al-Jaabari.

The forces also apprehended Moataz Hefzi Abu Sneineh, the director of the Ibrahimi Mosque, along with Hammam Abu Markhiya, head of the mosque's staff, from their workplace at the mosque.

In a related incident in Yatta, a town south of Hebron, Israeli forces conducted searches in several Palestinian homes. However, no detentions were reported in that area.
