Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces detained journalist Ahmad Jalajel on Saturday evening from the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem. Earlier this week, on Wednesday, Israeli forces had detained Jalajel from his home in the Silwan neighborhood during Iftar time. He was taken to a detention center in the neighborhood of Jabal al-Mukaber, where he was interrogated for several hours before being released.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli occupation forces continue to target journalists in Jerusalem through detentions, house arrests, and bans from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque. These actions are often justified under the pretext of their journalistic work or accusations of incitement via social media.
