Israeli Forces Destroy Home of Detainee in Beit Awwa

Beit Awwa: Israeli occupation forces blew up the home of detainee Izz al-Din al-Masalma in the town of Beit Awwa, west of Hebron, on Tuesday morning.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the incident involved a large number of military vehicles storming the town and raiding the home of 28-year-old detainee Izz al-Din Salama al-Masalma, located in the town's center. The forces imposed a military cordon around the area, compelling several families to evacuate their homes for safety reasons.

Mohammad al-Masalma, the director of Beit Awwa Municipality, confirmed that the occupation forces proceeded to blow up the ground floor of the three-story house. The destroyed home accommodated more than 20 residents, leading to significant dislocation and disruption for the families involved.

The occupation forces had arrested al-Masalma in December of the previous year, marking this act as part of ongoing tensions in the region.
