Israeli occupation forces demolished two houses under construction in the town of Az-Zawiya, west of Salfit, on Thursday. Local sources told WAFA that Israeli military bulldozers demolished two houses under construction in the eastern area, each consisting of two floors, owned by local residents Mahmoud Ali Sand and Walid Thaer Ali Sand. Last month, the occupation forces also demolished two houses under construction in Az-Zawiya, one belonging to local resident Jihad Ibrahim Radad and consisting of three floors, and the other belonging to Sundus Jamal Muqadi. According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation authorities have carried out a total of 689 demolitions since October 7. The demolitions included 868 facilities, including 373 inhabited homes, 89 uninhabited homes, and 241 agricultural and other facilities, while they were concentrated in the governorates of Jerusalem with 221 facilities, Hebron with the demolition of 204 facilities, and Nablus Governorate with the demoliti on of 92 facilities.
