Post: Israeli Forces Demolish Palestinian Structures South of Hebron

Yatta: Israeli occupation forces on Monday demolished several Palestinian-owned homes, agricultural barracks, and a water well in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, according to a local activist. The demolition activities took place in the village of Al-Karmil, east of Yatta, targeting structures that were critical to the local Palestinian community.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, activist Osama Makhamreh, who is involved in opposing colonial settlement activity in southern Hebron, reported that the Israeli forces demolished two agricultural barracks, each measuring 1,000 square meters. The forces also demolished two stone-and-tin homes owned by two brothers, displacing 15 residents.

Additionally, Israeli forces demolished another stone-and-tin home, measuring 120 square meters, which housed 10 people, along with a concrete wall. During the demolitions, approximately 20 fruit trees were uprooted, impacting the agricultural livelihood of the local community.

In a separate incident in the Ma'in area of Al-Karmil, Israeli authorities demolished a house that was under construction and a 130-cubic-meter water well. Several fruit trees owned by a local resident were also uprooted during this operation, further affecting the community's resources and infrastructure.
