Shuqba: Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian house in the town of Shuqba, west of Ramallah. The demolition displaced seven family members residing in the two-story house.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Adnan Shalash, head of the Shuqba village council, reported that Israeli forces, accompanied by military bulldozers, entered the town and carried out the demolition of Abdul Halim Thabet's house. The residence featured a swimming pool and a playground. During the operation, soldiers reportedly fired live ammunition at nearby homes, with no injuries reported.
The demolition was preceded by a notification to Thabet several days before the incident. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission recorded 37 demolitions by Israeli authorities in April, impacting 78 structures, including homes, agricultural facilities, and sources of livelihood, primarily in Jerusalem, Ramallah and al-Bireh, and Bethlehem.
In addition to the demolitions, Israeli authorities issued 21 demolition notices targeting Palestinian structures, particularly in the Hebron governorate, followed by Jerusalem, Jenin, and Qalqilya.
