Al-himma: Israeli occupation forces on Thursday demolished an irrigation pond in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a human rights activist. Fares Fuqaha reported that the forces dismantled a 250-cubic-meter irrigation pond in the al-Himma area.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, the demolition of the pond has raised concerns among local communities who rely on such infrastructure for agriculture and water management. The irrigation pond played a crucial role in supporting the agricultural activities of the residents in the region.
The incident is part of ongoing tensions in the area, with previous demolitions and alterations affecting the livelihoods of those in the northern Jordan Valley. The actions of the occupation forces continue to be a point of contention in the broader political and humanitarian discussions surrounding the region.
