Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces demolished a house in the town of Silwan, located south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, on Wednesday. The house belonged to local resident Naim Al-Ruwaidi and was accompanied by the presence of several bulldozers during the demolition process. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the demolished house also served as the headquarters for Al-Bustan Center and the Sumoud Tent. These locations have been significant for the residents of the Al-Bustan neighborhood, serving as a communal gathering place for years as they have sought to defend their homes. The Jerusalem Governorate reported that since October 7, 2023, approximately 360 homes and facilities in the city of Jerusalem have been demolished and bulldozed by the occupation forces. This is part of what is described as a systematic policy aimed at displacing Jerusalemite citizens and depriving them of their historical and national rights.
