Israeli Forces Demolish Home in Ni’lin Amid Tensions

Ni'lin: Israeli occupation forces demolished a house in the town of Ni'lin, west of Ramallah, on Wednesday. The demolition took place in the Jisr area of the town and involved the home of Khalil Salama al-Azazmeh, which he shared with his family and the family of his son Eid.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Nilin Mayor Yousef al-Khawaja reported that an Israeli army force, accompanied by a bulldozer, carried out the operation. The house consisted of two floors, each measuring approximately 160 square meters.

Mayor al-Khawaja further explained that the occupation forces had notified the owner to cease construction on the house about five years ago. The demolition underscores ongoing tensions and the impact of such actions on local families in the region.
