Jericho: Israeli occupation authorities on Monday demolished several structures belonging to a Bedouin family in the village of Deir Hajleh, east of Jericho. Local sources reported that Israeli forces, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed Deir Hajleh and demolished eight tin structures belonging to Ibrahim Salem Abu Dahouk and his sons. These structures included his home, his children's home, and a chicken coop. During the operation, the forces reportedly beat Abu Dahouk in front of his children.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the actions were part of efforts to empty Deir Hajleh of Palestinians. The demolition and its circumstances have drawn attention to the ongoing tensions and the impact on local communities in the region.
