Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces assaulted the family of a Palestinian detainee in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and raided a home in the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli troops stormed the Al-Thawri neighborhood in Silwan, where they raided the home of prisoner Muhannad Juwayhan, assaulting his father, sisters, and uncle.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli forces have also summoned Juwayhan's father for an investigation scheduled on Thursday. During the raid, the occupation forces vandalized the contents of the house, tore up pictures of the prisoner, and seized a sum of money.
In a related context, the occupation forces stormed Anata and raided the home of Khaled Jamal Al-Rifai, searching it and ransacking its contents. Furthermore, soldiers also raided the town of Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem, although no arrests were reported.
