Israeli Forces Conduct Raids in Salfit, Detain Key Fatah Officials

Salfit: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained a number of Fatah officials and cadres in the Salfit Governorate at dawn on Thursday, during a large-scale raid that targeted several towns.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that the IOF detained Ahmad Abdul Karim al-Deek, known as Abu Amid, who is the Deputy Secretary of Fatah in Salfit, and Jamal Hammad, also known as Abu Rajai, a member of the movement's Revolutionary Council from the town of Kafr al-Deek, west of Salfit.

In addition, Bahjat Asi, a Fatah leader from the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit, was detained along with three other citizens after their homes were raided. The village of Masha, west of Salfit, also saw IOF activities where the home of Makram Amer, a member of the Fatah Regional Council in the governorate, was raided and its contents ransacked.

It is noteworthy that Abdel Sattar Awad, the Secretary of the Fatah Movement in the Salfit region, continues to be detained by the occupation forces for the eighth consecutive day.
