Hebron: Israeli forces raided and searched several Palestinian homes on Thursday, razing large areas of farmland and preventing farmers from accessing their fields in several areas south of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces stormed Khallat al-Farra, west of Yatta, south of Hebron, raiding and searching several homes and damaging their contents before confiscating three Palestinian vehicles.
In the town of al-Ramadin, south of the city, occupation forces stormed the town's entrance, completely closing it off and preventing residents from moving around. They began bulldozing vast areas of Palestinian land and demolished the foundations of numerous commercial structures along the main road connecting the towns of al-Dhahiriya and al-Ramadin.
Since December of last year, Israeli forces have demolished more than 60 structures and shops in the area, which had been the primary and sole source of income for many families.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops also prevented farmers from the Nawaj'ah family from accessing and plowing their fields in the Wadi Ajheish area of Masafer Yatta. They sealed off the area and declared it a closed military zone.
