Tulkarem: Israeli bulldozers caused extensive damage to infrastructure and private property in the center of Tulkarem in the northern occupied West Bank on Monday evening. The destruction focused on the area surrounding Jamal Abdel-Nasser Roundabout, affecting the main water network, sidewalks, and business entrances.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the bulldozers also damaged several vehicles parked near the entrance to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, which has been under siege by Israeli military vehicles. The demolition work extended to the Al-Muqataa neighborhood at the western entrance to the Tulkarem refugee camp, with a tight siege on the camp and snipers deployed in the surrounding area.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews transported a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the foot. PRCS stated that Israeli forces stopped the ambulance, detained the medical team, and forced them to take the injured man to a military checkpoint west of the city. This incident increased the total number of Palestinians injured in Tulkarem to six.
Earlier in the evening, another young man was shot in the thigh in the Tulkarem refugee camp. Additionally, two Palestinians were killed and four others injured in an Israeli drone shelling targeting a vehicle at the entrance to the Nur Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarem.
