Israeli occupation forces Thursday assaulted farmers and prevented them from harvesting their olive groves in the Kafr Qaddum town, east of the occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya, according to local sources. They said that the occupation soldiers stormed an area cultivated with olives trees, known as al-Jaba, close to the colonial settlement outpost atop the Jabal Hamad and to the east of the town, held landowners from the early morning till evening and prevented them from picking their olive. They added that the soldiers forced a farmer to unload his olive harvest, comprising 60 plastic bags, from the cart, tearing up the bags and spreading the olive on the land.
