Rafah: Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured this morning in an airstrike carried out by an Israeli drone targeting a gathering of civilians east of Rafah, southern Gaza.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the death toll in Gaza has risen to 48,264, the majority being women and children, since the Israeli genocidal war began in October 2023, as reported by local health authorities.
The same sources indicate that the number of injuries has also climbed to 111,688. Many victims remain trapped under the rubble, with emergency and civil defense teams facing challenges in reaching them.
A ceasefire in Gaza took effect on January 19, but casualties have continued to be reported across various parts of the region due to violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli occupation.
