Jerusalem: The Israeli Central Court has issued a ruling dismissing the appeal filed by the Al-Basha family, who sought to challenge the decision to evict them from their historic home in the Old City of Jerusalem.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Al-Basha family's home, built before 1930, spans three floors and offers a direct view of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The property is strategically located, connecting key streets in the Old City and lying in proximity to the holy mosque.
The court's eviction order, initially issued on March 4th, mandates the family to leave their residence on Al-Wad Street. This move is part of a larger colonial initiative aimed at Judaizing the area.
