Death Toll in Gaza Reaches 58,573 Amid Ongoing Israeli Aggression

Gaza city: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has surged to 58,573 since the onset of Israeli aggression in October 2023. The majority of those killed were women and children, with at least 139,607 others sustaining injuries.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the escalation resumed on March 18, 2025, when Israel violated the ceasefire agreement and intensified its aggression on Gaza. Since then, at least 7,750 civilians have lost their lives, and 27,566 others have been wounded.

Reports indicate that within the last 24 hours, 94 bodies, including seven retrieved from the rubble, and 252 injured individuals were admitted to hospitals in Gaza. Seven aid seekers were among those confirmed dead, and more than 30 were injured, adding to a total of 851 aid seekers killed and over 5,634 wounded.

The numbers remain incomplete as many victims are still trapped under debris, beyond the reach of ambulance and rescue teams.
