Jericho: Israeli colonists on Friday evening stormed the village of Shallalat al-Auja north of Jericho, according to a local official. Hassan Mleihat, head of the Al-Baydar Association for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, reported that a group of colonists entered the village. One of the colonists engaged in a provocative act by removing his upper clothing in front of the Bedouin residents. This action is part of a broader strategy to pressure the villagers to vacate the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the residents of Shallalat al-Auja experience frequent incursions by colonists and Israeli forces throughout the day. These persistent actions are seen as efforts to force the residents out of the village.
