Jericho: Israeli colonists stormed the village of Shalal al-Auja, north of Jericho. Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Human Rights Organization, reported that dozens of armed colonists entered the Shalal al-Auja Bedouin community and grazed their sheep among the homes of residents, in an apparent attempt to provoke them.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Malihat emphasized that these actions are part of a broader strategy aimed at pressuring Palestinians, particularly in Area C, with the ultimate goal of forcibly displacing them from their lands to facilitate settlement expansion. He pointed out that the Shalal al-Auja community has recently experienced repeated incursions by groups of armed colonists, seeking to drive the Bedouins from their ancestral land.
