NABLUS: In an attack late last night, Israeli colonists set ablaze a private Palestinian vehicle in the village of Burin, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. Local sources reported that a group of colonists sneaked into the village, setting fire to a parked vehicle, resulting in its destruction. The attackers fled the scene shortly following the assault. No Palestinian casualties were reported in the aftermath of the attack. The incident is the latest in an ongoing pattern of state-sponsored violence by Israeli colonists, a pattern that has seen exponential growth over the last year with the rise of hard-right Zionist nationalism to the Israeli government coalition.
