Ramallah: Israeli colonists set fire on Wednesday evening to Palestinian citizens' land in the town of Atara, northwest of Ramallah. WAFA correspondent said that colonists from a newly established colonial outpost, illegally built on the town's land, set fire to citizens' fields and prevented residents from extinguishing the blaze.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the fire incident has raised tensions in the area as local residents attempted to respond to the emergency. The colonists' actions not only endangered the land but also impeded the efforts of the local citizens to control the fire. Authorities are expected to look into the situation given the illegal status of the colonial outpost from which the colonists originated.
